We’d like to think it’s a bit of both. The checkmark fundamentally signifies acceptance, excellence, success…
and it’s all written into Crowson’s DNA.
But environment has its role as well. Those who have come before us have evolved the checkmark’s mythology. They’ve
added to its inherent meaning, reinforcing core notions of healthy striving, of genuine ambition to be the best.
The past then, is truly prologue.
